Dr. Toon Koon Chiam graduated from the RCSI. He completed a year in general medical training in the UK prior to working as a GP in Singapore. He returned to Ireland eighteen months later and completed rotations in psychiatry, paediatrics, general internal medicine and was Registrar in the Emergency Department at St Columcille’s Hospital for eighteen months.

He went on to complete his General Practice training in the UK in 2007 and obtained membership of the Royal College of General Practitioners. He has a Diploma in Clinical Psychiatry and a special interest in Men’s Health. He is on the Specialist Register of the Irish Medical Council and has worked in the Shankill area since 2008.

Claire qualified in 1998 from RCSI. Following her intern year, she went directly into the Eastern Regional GP Training Program completing rotations in general medicine, psychiatry, paediatrics and obstetrics and gynaecology.

She has Diplomas in Women’s Health and Child Health and obtained membership of the Irish College of General Practitioners. She has worked as a GP for more than 10 years in the Shankill and Ballybrack area and is also on the Specialist Register of the Irish Medical Council.

Clare joined the practice in 2020. After her General Nurse Training in Ireland, she spent many years in Australia where she gained extensive experience in community, hospital and general practice nursing. She is involved in the development and running of immunisation clinics as well as Chronic Disease Management for patients with complex medical needs.

Julie has had extensive administrative experience in a wide variety of sectors. She has both business and healthcare assistant training. She has recently left St Vincent’s and Beacon Hospital to join us to work in General Practice.

Carol joins the team with years of office administration experience. She brings to the team her vast experience working with people of all ages.
